Leeward Law provides personalized services to its clients based on their specific needs. Patrick O'Connor

Maritime Attorney

Patrick O'Connor is an attorney and licensed Merchant Marine Officer. After graduating from SUNY Maritime College he worked on deck and in the wheelhouse aboard tugboats on the Intracoastal Waterway, the Upper and Lower Mississippi River and the Ohio River. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctor Degree from Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island.

Patrick is a former Partner of Hill, Betts and Nash LLP, one of the last remaining original maritime firms in New York City. After practicing as a maritime defense trial attorney in New York and New Jersey, he returned to New England and formed Leeward Law to advocate for his clients.

Patrick holds a USCG Third Mate License Unlimited Tonnage and sails recreationally.
